Children's Church
First Baptist Church loves all the young ones, the children are an important part of the Church Family! We love having our young people come to worship God each week during our Children’s Church ministry and feel it is important for the church to pray for, encourage, teach and challenge our children in their Christian walk.
First Baptist offers Children’s Church for:
Children’s Church for Three’s, Four’s and Five Year Old’s with Jeannie:
Jeannie enthusiastically works with our Pre-Schoolers during the Worship Service teaching Bible Stories using the good ‘ole flannel graph technique. Jeannie makes these Bible Stories come to life for these little ones. This age group gets dismissed from the Worship Service just before the start of the sermon for the adults.
Children’s Church for 6 Year Olds through 5th Grade:
This age group is involved in their own Worship during the entire Worship Service at First Baptist. Kids, report to the Children’s Church Room in the upper level of the gymnasium. Numerous volunteers are dedicated to teaching our children using the 252 Program. The 252 Program is based on three basic truths every child should embrace according to what Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52:
• Making Wise Choices
• Trusting God No Matter What
• Treating Others the Way I Want To Be Treated
All children are invited to participate in our Children’s Church ministries.
